SPI Summer Passport Tour Kicks Off at Madison’s Henry Vilas Zoo

Stop 1: Henry Vilas Zoo | Braving the Heat and Earning the First Stamp

Schumann Printers kicked off its SPI Summer Passport Tour on June 21st with a wild and sunny start at the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison, Wisconsin.

Even with a heat wave rolling through, our SPI team and their families showed up with great energy and adventurous spirits. Guests braved the temps to collect their first official passport stamp, snap a photo with the SPI van, and take in the sights of polar bears, tortoises, monkeys, and even a badger—Wisconsin’s iconic native.

As a proud Top Workplace for 2025, SPI is always looking for creative ways to bring our people together and celebrate the strong, supportive culture we’ve built. The SPI Summer Passport Tour is all about creating space to connect outside of work—whether it’s with coworkers, families, or local communities.

With four family-friendly stops across Wisconsin, the tour gives employees a fun way to explore new places, enjoy the summer sun, and earn entries for our end-of-season prize drawing.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for Stop #1—we can’t wait to see where the next adventure takes us!
