We’re delighted to share that children of our SPI teammates have been awarded the prestigious Roosevelt Paper Scholarship this year. This recognition celebrates the hard work and aspirations of our teammates’ families and underscores the positive impact of our industry partnerships.

The Roosevelt Paper Scholarship supports students pursuing technical or undergraduate programs, reducing financial barriers and strengthening the pipeline of future talent in our communities and our industry. Roosevelt Paper — one of our trusted suppliers for many years — continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to education and growth through this initiative.

Meet the 2025 Recipients

  • Ayden H., son of Tim H., is entering his final year of Construction Management at UW–Platteville.

  • Emma H., daughter of Tim H., is pursuing her passion in the Cosmetology program at MATC.

  • Jakob J., son of Brenda J., is in his second year of Aerospace Engineering Mechanics at UW–Madison’s College of Engineering.

“We’re proud to see our teammates’ families recognized through programs that support the next generation. Watching Ayden, Emma, and Jakob take the next steps in their education is inspiring to all of us.”
Brooke Schumann, Marketing Manager, Schumann Printers

Scholarship recipients are chosen through a competitive process that looks at the whole student, including:

  • Academic performance

  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities

  • Work experience

  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives

  • An online recommendation

These criteria ensure the awards honor students who excel in the classroom, contribute to their communities, and show promise for making a meaningful impact.

The Roosevelt Paper Scholarship Program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education-support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team to ensure a fair and thorough selection process.

We’re honored to share in these success stories and look forward to seeing what the future holds for Ayden, Emma, and Jakob. Please join us in congratulating them on this remarkable achievement!
