Celebrating 60 Years in Business

As we commemorate our 60th anniversary, Schumann Printers takes pride in reflecting on our rich history and the journey that led us to where we are today. Founded in 1963 by Jack Schumann, our company started in a small basement in Fall River, Wisconsin. Jack studied printing at Dunwoody College in Minnesota, and after graduating, he took a risk by moving to Fall River to start his own printing business.

Our company started by focusing on printing report cards and business flyers for local schools and businesses. However, our dedication to quality and customer service quickly earned us a loyal customer base, and our business began to grow. Over the years, we expanded our services to include printing niche publications and high-end commercial catalogs, among other products. Despite facing numerous challenges and setbacks, Jack's determination and hard work paid off as we gained a reputation for providing high-quality printing services that exceed customer expectations.

Today, Schumann Printers is a two-building, nation-wide printing operation with over 170 employees, run by Jack's sons, Dan and Mark. At our core, we believe that family is at the heart of our business. We are grateful for our employees' loyalty, dedication, and hard work, which have contributed to our success over the years.

Schumann Printers continues to stay committed to our community and actively participates in various initiatives to support and enrich the lives of our neighbors and contribute to the growth of our region. Our partnership with Green Valley Enterprises -Life Academy allows us to create an inclusive and supportive work environment for all employees, and our local scholarships support the aspirations of graduating seniors in Columbus, Fall River, and Beaver Dam.

Recently, we joined the Manufacturing Business Alliance (MBA) of Dodge County, an organization that works to attract and sustain manufacturing in the region. Our school tours from Markesan and Rio provide students with valuable insights into our operations and the career opportunities available in the manufacturing industry.

As we celebrate 60 years in business, Schumann Printers looks back on our rich history with pride and gratitude. Our commitment to quality, customer service, and the community has allowed us to thrive for six decades, and we are grateful to our customers and employees, who have played an integral role in our success. We look forward to continuing to provide excellent printing services and making a positive impact on the lives of those around us for many years to come.
