By installing the absorption chiller, Schumann saw a projected energy savings of $94,581 annually, providing a quick payback of three and one half years over the air-cooled chiller option. By “Going Green” Schumann has a chilled water system economical to operate that reclaims waste heat that would have contributed to greenhouse gases and has found a marketing niche that will distinguish them above their competition in the printing industry.
